"During the month of September, Southwest ISD will be recognizing Attendance Awareness Month. Beginning September 1, we will work to spread awareness about the importance of regular school attendance, empower and educate families on the benefits of consistent attendance, and highlight the availability of support services to aid students and their families in overcoming obstacles.
Throughout the month of September, all campuses will be conducting activities that are aimed at promoting attendance awareness and improvement. We need your help to make this campaign a success. You can help by doing the following:
● Ensuring your child attends school daily
● Reinforcing information and habits that promote daily attendance
● Communicating with your child’s school regularly regarding attendance and any need for assistance
● Supporting your child in attendance-related activities
We will recognize and celebrate our achievement as a district and those individuals who help make this campaign a
